Within the Zumba® App, users have the option to grant us permission to retrieve workout information, step count, heart rate, and active energy (calories) burned (“Workout Data”) from a user's Apple Health (iOS) or Google Fit/Health Connect account, enabling the display of this Workout Data for your Zumba® classes within the Zumba® App. Certain of this data may be considered biometric data under applicable laws. If you choose to use the Zumba® App during your Zumba® / STRONG Nation® classes, we will write the Workout Data back to Apple Health or Google Fit/Health Connect for a seamless integration of your workout information.
We will not exchange any Workout Data with Apple's Health app or the Google Fit/Health Connect app without your prior approval. Approval is given by you in the relevant settings of the Apple Health app, the Google Fit/Health Connect app, or within the Zumba® App during the initial user profile setup or via app settings. You can sync some, all, or none of your Workout Data. You can withdraw your consent at any time in your Zumba App profile by clicking “Support”, then “My Workout Data”, then “Revoke My Workout Data Permissions”. Class Presence. If you opt in, Zumba shows your name and/or profile photo to other users of the Zumba® App who take, or have taken, the same on-demand class as you, and in the “Regulars” section of the pages of instructors whose classes you take often. This can reveal which classes you have watched. Class Presence is off by default and is turned on only by your separate, affirmative consent, which you give on its own screen and which is separate from your acceptance of our Terms of Use or this Privacy Policy. Your consent lasts for up to 24 months. We will ask you to reconfirm, and Class Presence will turn off if you do not. You can withdraw your consent at any time in the Zumba® App Settings, without affecting your access to the Zumba® App.
Video Viewing Information. We keep records of the videos and classes you watch in the Zumba® App to provide your history and ratings and to operate and improve the Zumba® App. We do not disclose information that identifies you as having requested or obtained specific videos to other users or third parties except (a) with your separate, informed consent, such as Class Presence; (b) as needed for payment processing, order fulfillment, responding to your requests, or a transfer of our business; or (c) to law enforcement or in response to a warrant, subpoena, or court order as required by law. We delete records that identify the videos you watched as soon as practicable once we no longer need them, and no later than one year afterward.
If you sign up for an online class offered by ZIN™ member or licensed instructor through the Site, we share your name and email address with that instructor so they can provide the class and communicate with you about it. We do this because it is necessary to provide the class you requested. Instructors are independent of Zumba and are separate and independent controllers of the information we share with them. Our agreement with instructors requires them to use this information only to provide your class and to communicate with you about it, to send promotions for their own Zumba® classes only where the law allows and with a way to opt out, and not to sell or share it or disclose it to others. This Privacy Policy does not govern how an instructor handles your information. To ask an instructor to correct or delete your information or to stop contacting you, please contact the instructor directly.
If you are a ZIN™ member or licensed instructor, we collect information about you, including your name, contact information, instructor number, photo, location, and classes taught, license and payment status (including payments made by gyms or other third parties), event approval requests, and information about compliance with your license agreement, which may come from public sources or reports from others. We publish your name, instructor number, and profile on the Sites, including Zumba.com, including in instructor and class search. We keep instructor records as needed to administer and enforce the license, including after termination.
We partner with ad network and other ad serving providers (“Advertising Providers”) to serve ads on our behalf on non-affiliated third-party websites. Some of those ads may be personalized, meaning that they are intended to be relevant to you based on information we or the online advertising network serving the ad collect about your use of the Sites and other sites and apps over time, including information about relationships among different browsers and devices. This type of advertising is known as interest-based advertising.
You may visit the Network Advertising Initiative at https://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp and the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”) at https://www.aboutads.info/consumers/ for information about this type of advertising and how to opt-out of this advertising on websites by companies participating in their programs. You can also exercise choices regarding interest-based advertising on your mobile device by downloading the appropriate version of the DAA's AppChoices tool at https://youradchoices.com/appchoices. If you delete your cookies/pixels or use a different browser or mobile device, you may need to renew your opt-out choices exercised through the opt-out tools. Note that if you opt-out of these types of ads, you will still see ads in your browser or application. It may make the ads you see less relevant to your interests.
We use the Meta pixel that is added to the Site in order to optimize ads, report on the success of advertising campaigns across devices and target ads to the audience. The Meta pixel sends information about your browsing session on our Site through HTTP headers to Meta, including the IP address, information about the web browser, page location, video information, document, referrer and web browser user agent. Pixel-specific data includes pixel ID and Facebook cookie data to connect the events to a specific Facebook ad account and to make a match to a person known by Facebook. Meta checks whether the person has previously seen or interacted with an ad from our account or if the person matches an audience rule and prepares an analytics report, which contains anonymized or aggregated data. The Meta Pixel also allows Meta and its partners to show you advertisements on and outside of Facebook. Meta keeps the information collected from the pixels for a certain period and stores the data collected in its production data centers in the US and Europe. Meta supports the DAA’s AdChoices to opt out of behavioral advertising and you can check the corresponding settings at http://optout.aboutads.info to opt out from the Meta pixel. You can opt-out of displaying Facebook ads by visiting your Facebook Ad Settings, and you can clear and control the information third parties share with Facebook in your Off-Facebook Activity page.
We use the Pinterest pixel that is added to the Site to optimize ads, report on the success of advertising campaigns across devices and target ads to the audience. The Pinterest pixel sends information about your browsing session on our Site through HTTP headers to Pinterest, including the IP address, information about the web browser, page location, video information, document, referrer and web browser user agent. This makes it possible to use the data of Site visitors for online behavioral advertising. Pinterest supports the DAA’s AdChoices to opt out of behavioral advertising and you can check the corresponding settings at http://optout.aboutads.info to opt out from the Pinterest pixel. You can opt-out of displaying Pinterest ads by visiting your Pinterest profile settings.
We have integrated YouTube videos into our Site, which are stored on http://www.YouTube.com and can be played directly from our Site. No data about you as a user will be transmitted to YouTube if you do not click on the videos to start playing them. Only when you play the videos will the data referred to in the next paragraph be transferred to YouTube. We have no influence on this data transfer.
By playing the videos, YouTube is informed that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our Site and might place further tools for marketing purposes. If you are logged in to Google, your information will be directly associated with your account.
Wir können auch mit Dritten zusammenarbeiten, die im Laufe der Zeit Daten über Ihre Nutzung der Websites und anderer Websites oder Anwendungen zu nicht werblichen Zwecken sammeln.
