Become a SYNC Community Champion and help SYNC members connect with each other and with the Home Office. Help keep them informed, connected, inspired, and supported.

WHAT’LL YOU’LL DO:

As a SYNC Community Champion volunteer, you’ll help build relationships and ensure SYNC voices are heard. During the one-year volunteer term, you’ll communicate with SYNC members through the official SYNC Member Facebook groups which you’ll moderate.

NEW VOLUNTEER ROLES!

We've created new roles to improve the volunteer experience. Teams will decide on role assignments together, and they can rotate every 2 months so everyone gets a chance to shine. Spaces are limited!

Volunteer tasks include:

Community Moderator: Monitor & respond to comments in your Champion Language Community Forum spaces
Community Poster: Share content relevant to SYNCs directly in your Community Forum spaces
Meet & Greet Leader: Organize & run in-person and virtual gatherings of SYNCs with your volunteer team
Group Coordinator: Serve as the touchpoint for local leaders who manage their own WhatsApp groups
ClassBuzz™ Content Creator: Use ClassBuzz to generate images for your volunteer teams to post in their Community Forum spaces
